“The Universal Type Client application that is currently running is incompatible with the Universal Type plug-in”

A:
You are running a version of the server that is not compatible with your current version of the Adobe suite. You can still use this version, but can delete the plug-ins from the following folders:

  1. InDesign
Finder > Applications > IndesignCC 2019 (or whichever version you are using currently) > Plug-Ins > Font Activation
Delete the file that is in the “Font Activation” Folder
  2. Photoshop
Finder > Applications >PhotoshopCC 2019 (or whichever version you are using currently) > Plug-Ins > Font Activation
Delete the file that is in the “Font Activation” Folder
  3. Illustrator
Finder > Applications >IllustratorCC 2019 (or whichever version you are using currently) > Plug-Ins > Font Activation
Delete the file that is in the “Font Activation” Folder
