Printer Plotter Locations

Whitaker Learning Lab

The following is a list of printers located in the Whitaker Learning Lab. If you have questions about how to use them and/or how to set up your files, please talk with a lab monitor or refer to information posted next to the equipment.

BrightPlots (3) – Paper: 24 lb bond paper, 36 in. wide roll; Cost: $1.00 sf (Color), $0.50 sf (B&W)

• BrightPlot1 (HP DesignJet Z6810)
• BrightPlot2 (HP DesignJet Z9)
• BrightPlot3 (Canon Pro-4100)

MattePlots (4) – Paper: 46 lb bond paper, 36 in. wide roll*; Cost:$1.50 sf (Color), $1.00 sf (B&W)

• MattePlot1 (HP DesignJet Z6810)
• MattePlot2 (Canon Pro-4100)
• MattePlot3* (Canon Colorado 1630).  Paper roll is  36″ wide, but the maximum print width is 35″.  MattePlot3 does not auto-rotate jobs so users must manually adjust orientation to fit within this width.  A 36 x 20 image will not print, but 20 x 36 will.  The first dimension is the width and this cannot exceed 35″.
• MattePlot4 (Canon ImagePROGRAF TZ-30000)

MylarPlot (1) – Paper: Mylar, 42 in. wide roll; Cost: $2.75 sf (Color); $2.25 sf (B&W)

• MylarPlot1 (HP DesignJet Z6600)

Brand: Xerox (Smaller, standard printers are also located throughout buildings.)
Sizes: 8.5×11, 11×17
Paper: 20 lb basic
Cost: $0.25 per page (Color); $0.04 per page (B&W)

Steinberg Hall, Room 203
